If it was that easy to tune, everyone could do it. Maybe this will able to make the system tonally good but what about staging and imaging?

It's not intended to be magic. It's meant to be used in conjunction with other tunning methods and practices.

You Can't tune a car with the above alone, but it is used in the process.

It really depends on the system's alignment. thats why its better to tweak a system by doing it right!(speaker, x-over, the transfer function, etc)...... instead of correcting after.

But if you have to use an eq..... the above guideline is somewhat inline with what I have experienced. But its missing what 12K does or from 30, 60, 120 & up in octaves)and also a few others... thats related to stage height and rear fill cues.

^^^ It has nothing to do with doing it right... EQ tuning is used in the process of all around tuning of one's audio system. I said right in the beginning that this isn't meant as the one and only method to use, but just another tool.

And since I was seeing a few new question, and old question regarding EQ tuning, and general system tuning, I figured it would be helpful...
