Put all the sound deadening you want in - it won't fix your midrange problem.

what do you suggest?

Should I forget the dash driver and go with good 6,5 component (mid-bass in door, high on top) in the doors and bridge the 4ch amp to get more power to those 2?

I am willing to put up to 300$ to fix this problem, am I dreaming?

I did it!, I changed the Pioneer for a pair of Infinity 692.7i. I also adjust the JBL HPF to 250 and now it sound good. For the deadening ill wait, when i replace the van i will put this in my new car budget. Also, i got a BIG surprise when i changed the speakers in the doors, Arizona Audio in LaSalle (Montreal) originally install the pioneer and my kenwood amp, i discover that they just twist the wire together and put some electrical tape on them... I had to clean all the wires b4 soldering them. All done and very happy now. Thanks all
