Looking for a SQ deck for my system

My deck (Alpine 9833) was recently stolen (Jan/1/2007.... way to go to start a new year), so I am looking for a replacement.

I also have:
Focal K2P 5" compnenet speakers (130KP) powered by Audison LRx2.150, for the front.
2 Focal Polyglass 8" subs (21V2) powered by Audison SRx1, in the trunk.

I need a replacement deck to match the above system, and I want something better than the 9833. Not saying 9833 doesn't sound good, but it's just that I have a chance to upgrade so I want something better. So basically I want "the best sounding deck for the above mentioned system" (instead of "the best sounding deck period"... but if they happen to be the same so be it ). By that I mean... I want this deck to have good enough SQ so that the rest of the system are the bottleneck for SQ (and therefore if I am to spend any more money on the deck then it would be a waste).

I've read a few other SQ deck related threads and they are all general comparisons.

Any opinions?

If your comment is "shut up just get the best deck period" it's fine... any comments are welcomed

TIA.

Nakamichi CD500 or CD700II are two of the better sounding HU's IMO. You didn't mention budget.

For now let's assume budget is not a concern... no I am not made of money but let's just assume that for now :P

Other requirements:

- Appearance, graphics, display are absolutely NOT a concern.
- MP3 capability... I don't really care for. If it's there it's great. If not it's okay.

So basically the only things I am trying to please are my ears!

How much are the Naka CD500 and CD700II btw?

those 8" subs are Polyglass... 21V2 i believe.

ur 27kx... what are those?

my fronts are 130KP I think.. (5")

So i guess our systems are simliar then.... are these Focal/Audison good enough for these top-end decks? Or....... can I save some money and buy cheaper decks.

That's really my original question of: with the speakers and amps I have, can I just get the best deck money can buy, or they are not enough to bring out the best of the highest end decks.

Oh yeah.... the alpine 9833 has time alignment, cross over, and parameteric EQ. Do Nakamichi decks have those? I don't see those on their specs.

How's the Eclipse top of the line CD7000? its price range seems to be simliar to Naka CD500.
