midrange and tweeters selection ?
I own the sls6.5's as well, and with a steep slope you can get away with playing them as high as 250-300hz.
mine were mated with seas excel 4.5's and they worked well together.
my doors just couldn't handle the sls and have since been changed out, I kinda miss them.
A lot of good suggestions in this thread. the excels can be heard at finals as well.

Since your SLS are 8ohm, I don't see why you would be worried about the other components being 8ohms.

do I need to band pass these SLS 6.5"(pretect from lower frequencies with some kind of coil) or just cut the high frequencies going in with my amplifiers LPF ?
