Morel
if you want to stoop so low as to make fun of my grammer and spelling, then go ahead. the fact that i moved to the usa 3 years ago obviously doesnt help me from that aspect, but i dont care much.
my point from the begining was just be respectfull. or at least open minded. if you like morel israel product go ahead buy it. im happy for you. honestly. but dont go and make fun of morel usa. dont trash it. dont call it junk. its original like morel israel product, because they use to be the same company. its just as good or better IMHO.

Well, this has been a lovely history lesson, I can now go bore all my friends and family with this little tale of how Morel got started. Thank you all very much, I will be the life of the party for sure now, but nobody has answered my question.
Is there a dealer in the Toronto area?

i use to be in sales for computers... and i had pretty much the same story with my partner. obviously not to the same extent but still.it kinda sucks when your partner tricks you out of ****. but regardless, life goes on... took the company. blah blah
i am i BIG DIY hifi guy, so when i heared about what happend with morel (i use to buy morel tweeters for my DIY speakers) it really hit home. i use to go to the trade shows in vegas and chicago and talk to them. theyre good guys. both of them...
and no, i dont work for morel usa or israel. god dont think i could take a day in the office of that place... sign me into a mental institute why dont ya...
i would like to formally appologise to everyone who has been offended. i didnt mean to pry or come off as an ***. the truth is i am looking for a good forum with some know-how guys, because i am decently new to car audio. i guess i didnt make a very good first impression. sorry again...

They are both good companies with good product, I think there are more similarities (HIGH quality and great sound) then differences between their products (heck Morel looked like Dynaudio gear for many years and I believe several products were made by Dynaudio too).
Isn’t it great when you are friends of the bride and groom (or in this case a company) after (or during) a messy divorce! All the ugly details all the intrigue come out. You can pick either side and say it is wrong based on the other companies claims. Truth is both sides are probably a little wrong but it IS a great way to get EVERYONE talking about Morel and Morel USA! "There is no such thing as bad press"

I have had a very bad experience with Morel USA prior to learning that they and Morel (Isreal) were seperate entities. I have a set of Morel USA Renaissance SWR-12's, and one had the basket crack while mounted. I felt that this was likely a defect, however when I called Morel USA they were unwilling to do anything for me, including even fixing the woofer and billing me.
I've never recieved such poor treatment from any car audio company I've dealt with.
