thanx for the hot deal
but i thought Rockford Fosgate makes crap nowadays and quality is really down the crappers

right now im talking with Jordman111, he posted his 10" type Rs in BST
http://www.canadiancaraudio.com/online/car-audio-sale/15508-fs-10-alpine-type-r.html

the one with the scratch is the dual 2 ohm sub
the one which is mint is the single 4 ohm
i would PREFER to sell the single 4 ohm one
but i wouldnt mind to sell both either.
the one with the scratch is 90 bucks
without the scratch is 75.
which one should i get if i want more SQ and actually dont want much volume because im not into loud bass

sorry but im on a budget for now
im a student and in school now, so no real income to support my expensive taste

man i really wish i can get the hell out of university and get a job
then i can afford a whole focal system like my friend... his car with $5000 worth of focal SQ setup makes me jeolous

do i really need a 10" btw?
would 8" suffice for bringing out drums and bass guitar for like latin jazz and such?

so this is what the trunk looks like

the stock sub is up there

so should i leave the stock sub in the hole there and just snip the wires, hook it up to LLC and then to amp to get a good seal of the trunk?

or should i take it out?

which way should i point the box at?
towards the door of the trunk or to the side?

Just upgrade the sub with a free-air one and a small amp ............ and you're done !! No box building........ simple install.

I have a pair of never-used Canton 10" subs that I am selling for $150 for the pair. You could have both of those running free-air in the trunk. Find a solid amp for cheap (I recommend a used Concept CCA-752; solid 75 watts RMS x 2 channels, built-in crossover and bass boost, I use 2 of them currently and quite like them), make a nice solid, well-sealed baffle sealing off the trunk and you're set.

i think boxed is the best way for my car
