Then I'd recommend going to the biggest shop in your area and check out all they have to offer, listen to the salesperson, but don't put too much weight into what they say, they aren't trying to inform you as much as sell you stuff you probably don't need....so check out a few, then come back and list makes and models and ask peoples opinion on here or other forums.
But right off the bat, from what you've listed, of decks I've owned I really liked the Alpine 9887

thanks in advance
I currently have boston pro's in one vehicle and really like them a lot. I am thinking about getting a set of Boston pro60's for my other vehicle. If you buy a good deck and amplifier to power them, they will be able to go loud and still sound great. I would say that you definitely can't go wrong with these speakers...

ok good to know, my car has 6.5"s in the doors and in the back, would i buy two component sets or do i just buy normal speakers for the back, theres a guy selling focals on this site. would the focals in the back and the pro60 component set in the doors be a solid start to the system?

I personally dont like rear fill at all....but lots of people do, you "should" be able to create a good deep sound stage without it, I'd concentrate, on deck, the door speakers with an amp, then fill as required from there....others will chime in on this one

The way I look at it and try to explain it is, for SQ, the goal is to recreate the music as it was intended by the artist, for the most part, you want to instruments to sound exactly as if the band is playing for you personally, live, right there in front of you, let's call that their "stage"....when you go see a live performance, look around....do you see any speakers or band members behind you?...not likely....so your "stage" is in front of you, very wide, very deep for the most part....I've personally never been to see a band where the bass player was behind me.....know what I'm saying?...now if you're going with a dvd deck and want to watch movies in 5.1, thats another story and completely different set up.

that makes a lot of sense. will the pro60s be loud enough to fill the cabin and sound proper or do you think i may need to custom fit something else somewhere in the front..or i should just do something for myself and put the pro60s in and see how i like it? lol
