Question

Hey guys me again, as you all probably know im new to this whole sound thing but i need some input. Ive got my system sounding pretty good right now but was wondering what all of you think should be my next step for system SQ.

Right now I have as follows:
Alpine CDA-9807 head unit
Alpine 500watt Mono
Alpine 200watt 4chan
Alpine 6.5 typeS Component
Alpine 6.5 typeS coax
2 Clarion 225 watt power subs
Clarion Sub box
Scoche 1000watt cap
4 gauge wiring to dist cap
Brax sound damped trunk

Now as for adding a seperate EQ im not too sure what that would do for sound but i would like your guys input as to what would benefit my system the most. Thanks in advance for all the sugestions I know u guys are the best

upgrade your battery do the big 3 upgrade. help get somemore power to your amps. maybe experiment with different sub box setups see if you can get something that sounds a little better in your car, maybe play with where your tweeters and mids are. upgrade to an alpine deck with bass engine pro and try running the full electronic xovers and play with different xover points and freqs to see if you can get more out of your system. just play with it.

Sound deadening the doors, if you haven't already. The mids are so important. It all comes down to speaker location and how they are installed (reinforced and solid).

Oh, and get out to SQ shows and listen to other systems.

Buy an EQ only if you need an EQ, no need fixing a problem that doesnt exist.

I would spend my time and money on finding the perfect speaker locations and doing the install right (not implying you havent but whenever I work on this is usually results in free or cost effective SQ improvements)
