I've installed at least 30 of them over the years, and most have a small background hiss, And when you have the sub channel going strong (not Fozz, SQ guy, but street beater guys) The fronts get quieter and really break up quickly since they get starved for power.... If you aren't abusing the sub channel then it's good. If you like cranking the bass... there's better options if you want your front stage not to suffer

You don't like the LRX5.1? When I was buying a Journey I was looking hard at one. Things have changed now though in my case.

You also don't like the BitOne..

You don't care much for Audison overall hey?

I am very happy with my Zapco DC ref 650.6 Amp and full service processer in one, though I could live without the symbolink cables

For the money for the LRx's sound wasn't all that impressive. From what I've been told the newish style LRx's the black case are re-designed and sound much better.

The bitone had more problems then a teenager.

Audison does make good products - I still as of yet, not seen anything clean sounding come my way. I've heard VRx amp in 4 different cars and they are stupid clean.

thanks guys...the audison lrx3.1k-new model, is looking real good as my ultimo is a 2ohm version. It should deliver 160x2 and 1150 x 1 for the sub..which can be turned down to match the front end. As soon as I get everything I'll start a build log. Here are a few of the car....
cheers
