A question on subs and their differences

Oh yeah...subs are barely needed for an SQ system. I remember Ken Pohlman used to have ADS 6.2 (dual 6" woofers) as the bass portion of his reference system when he reviewed and tested equipment in CSR(or was it CA&E??). I'll be the first to admit that i need more bass for my system(s)...nothing like the visceral impact of certain songs to get you in a good mood!

jl audio makes subwoofers in the w series that range from w0-w7
maybe he means 12 inch w subs but this is being to general to say jl audio is poorly made and over priced unless you don't like the jl audio 12w7-3 that is receiving full power and being pushed by a jl audio 1000/1v2 ... i have heard quite a few subs and this is my favorite 12'' by far only subs i have enjoyed more were bigger
