I'm also running 3-way off my alpine cda 9835, the ultimate in head unit control. Could almost compete with a little more sound deadening......

ps, when you moving out here peaches?
drew, cabby and i are running almost identical setups. he copied me but yeah anyways we both run avi XL components in the doors in the stock locations he has 5 1/4 and i have 6.5, we are running them off deck power off the 9835 in 3way mode and then just an amp and a sub, he had a mrdm501 and 2 jl something or others and i'm running a xs2500 with an avi sls300. i'd hafta agree with cabby for the stock location the imaging is decent all things considered. sometimes your leg gets in the way but most of the time it sounds pretty awesome, kinda shocks alot of people when i tell them whats running my components. but yeah i ditched the rear fill and i dont miss it one bit. take your back deck off and pull those speakers out they are only clipped in and they are rattle monsters.
