Defro,
I was under the understanding that the way to be "selected" as an Alpine F#1 status dealer was to buy and stock ALL the F#1 pieces, something most Alpine dealers opted out of due to the large amount of tied up inventory.

MMMMMMmmmm Quad
I've heard the ESL 63 model I believe, very detailed midrange. Top end is um...rolled off but not totally unreal.
Got to love the CJ gear, although I'm kind of partial to Cary and VAC products due to industry connections.
Thanks for the compliment Mike.

aline f#1 dealers were selected by overall performance as an alpine dealer, as weel as there ability to sell high end gear, form instance they wouldnt ask the local alpine guy who sells typr s coaxials, entry level cd players and no video to be an alpine f#1 dealer, its exclusive because it should be, because, as this thread has shown, not all stores and people are created equal and have the capability and clientel to sell it, i am fortunate enough to have both the capability and the clientel, therefore we were asked if we wanted to sell it, the answer was out of my mouth before the ? was even finished being asked, i wonder what some guys out there answer with when a customer comes in and says, "i want the best, and what is it" and you dont sell products like f#1 or the denon pieces, and a select few other high quality pieces, im sure the answers would be colorful
