Which speakers / PG amp fixable?

ok. new here, so first off hello to all. I own a jeep cherokee and take it offroad frequently... so im not looking to drop $2000 into this thing to have it all destroyed. however i do drive a lot for work and school and i love music. i picked up a Phoenix gold xenon 600.1 amp and a matchin 10" sub, just put it in a sealed box and called it a day. and i was satisfied enough with that, an alpine head unit and some crappy mtx coaxial's that i picked up cheap from a friend :P however due to a series of unfortune events involving the flash rain showers weve been having, i managed to short out 2 of the speakers and my amp

so first question, is it possible to get the amp fixed, and if so, where :S phoenix gold isnt exactly a big company here... and i got it online so customer service would be non-existent. (would it be worth trying to fix anyway) i didnt see smoke and turned it off right away when i didnt hear any sound, realising what probably happened, and nothing seems burnt on the board...

secondly, now that the mtx's are gone im looking to get a 4 channel amp and upgrade, ive heard, for the price, the Diamond Audio HEX series components are pretty good, and can get them on ebay for pretty cheap. good option? what other component systems are out there for $100-200?

and finally, i have a friend who offered a JL...i know. jl :S but bare with me here, a 500/1 and 300/4 amps for $500.. brand new never opened or anything. which seemed at least pricewise to be fairly reasonable to me, is it worth it? max id want to spend, all in, is $1000..for all 4 speakers and the 2 amps... so whats your thoughts? if you've got any better options let me know

i know...long post. lol figured id get it all out at once.
