Sq system
If somebody use a microphone just like the one of eclipse and I know that pionner or alpine have something similar that ajust your system, will it help or it doesn't matter. If tune an active setup is that hard I will probably wait another year to learn more about it. But just for fun how different is it than tuning a passive setup ? (mine I have plug only the rear than at high volume I ajust the crossover and the gain to what my hear tell me was good, than at the same volume I just plug the front and done the same. Was it the good way to do it ??)
I don't really care if the voice coil on the speaker is the biggest on the market, I just want a speaker that will at least take the 150w rms of my JL450/4 and still sound great which it's not the case with my Perfect. I would like to have something that will play much greater than my current Perfect. and for the rear fill if I put one I think it will be only a midrange or so.

to get a great cd player with fully variable 3 way x-overs, flexible time correction and a decent -over is only 349$ from alpine.....i ask those who say its difficult to set up how hard is it to set a 60hz low pass to a woofer , 60hz hi pass to mid, 3.5k lowpass to mid and 3.5k high pass to tweeter all at 12db/octave.......if these very basic setup parameters are too difficult for you to do by reading the maunual then i suggest you stick to passives because those are grade 1 electronic crossover settings and you should stick to passives and crayons................electronic crossovers are easy, very easy and will give you alot lore flexibility in the speakers you choose.....i could help you set it up over the phone its so easy......think of it as taking a big step forward in the capabilities of your stereo and you will learn alot
