i have two focal 27h in a ported box but the subs are looking into a 1/4 firewall in my bmw 735i if i do a SINGLE-VENTED BAND-PASS/("4th Order Band-Pass") i can port it out of the skiboot where my ports are now

ok in the car i get the ports into the car and the trunk gets the rest becouse the 1/8-1/4" firewall if i can ineed more form the trunk into the car .what may box is setup is set to high 33-110 i would like 25-80

I have 2- 8's in a T-Line(Transmission Line @ slightly less than 1/4 wave), vented through the rear deck of my Accord. Been there for some time now.
I did it because I heard and felt(16-18Hz) a similar box design we built for the old alpine Demo Trans-Am, using same 2- 8's, which ended up winning "Top Gun" [img]graemlins/gunsarecool.gif[/img] at a Competition in Williams Lake. G. Springgay did the install. Looong ago

I'd almost hate to part with it if I EVER give up the Accord.

I think Eli just wants to see which part of his system will decompose from age first before he replaces something.

i had very good luck using an aperiodic membrain on my subs and will be using it agian in my new system. good frequency responce tons of power handling very very smooth, tiny box. man very hard to beat this design.

I´m using a vented enclosure for my Nova MDS subwoofers, but it´s planned to be replaced by a aperiodic bandpass in the engine compartment, using an ID 10´´.
