Subwoofer Suggestion?

The Eclipse SW8200 should also make your short list for a highly respectable subwoofer in the SQ arena.

i can get the 12" Eclipse SW7200 a lot cheaper then either of the afore mentioned options. how would it stack up against the rest?

The Eclipse is absolutely no slouch at all, well advised to consider it.

As for the previous post about kickers being garbage.. They arent garbage subs, they just arent musical drivers by any means. and were never really meant to be. (L5-L7-Solo X series)

Any mid-high end Eclipse driver would be worth considering 100%, Eclipse makes very well built drivers, with incredible performance.

I dont know alot about the w6v2 or w7 subs, but I do know they can be VERY expensive.

Im currently building a system with 2 10" Type X subs and some CDT components. If I get it all together soon I can let you know how the Type X subs perform in terms of SQ.

I think you should also check out TC Sounds drivers...more specifically the TC9.
