suggestions on 6.5 mid-bass!

suggestions on 6.5 mid-bass!

any one got any suggestions on mid bass for the rear of my celica?

apline, iva-d310(head unit)
fosgate,t162s,6.5 component(front doors)
fostgate power 1000 25 to life(amp)
fostgate.t110d4 (soon to be)

midbass should be up front not the rear

you dont HAVE to put anything there! The sound should be coming from the front/ side (door) and if you choose to put in speakers in your rear deck or doors then it can be full range. The point is for it to sound right to you and good for passengers too

ok then would it be better to go get a good set of miid bas and put them up front and put the other 6.5 in the rear(somthing a little better than what i got?)

"better" is in the ear of the beholder, personally I hate speakers behind me, I'd take the money you'd spend on rear speakers and spend it on better fronts, but that's just my opnion.
if you need/ want rears, I'd just get decent quality, well priced "full range" drivers back there as "fill".
so what I'm basically saying is listen Mr. Vroom, he won't steer you wrong



EDIT: I just looked up your front components, those should be more than enough speaker to fill a car. what is it you're looking for?.....something for the back seat passengers?

i
am trying to make a system that when i get my subs, the sub just wont drown everything else out . and so i can get a little more power to them(ther is a small comp (spl) for ppl systems(no subs)that last time i entered i hit 119.7 db and i would like to do a little better this year(122?? lol)
but it all still has to sound good or esle im just another ricer, and we all know we dont need any more of thoes ppl around

If you want to dominate that event, then I suggest that you build pods for midbass drivers and stick lots of power to them at 80-250hz. Drivers that I have found to deliver good solid midbass are Pioneer PRS720's.
