Will I lose my settings if a turn a speaker off?

No you have six memory banks - use them!. If you are not sure how to use the H701, you can find the manual on the website.

2 ways to turn the speakers off, but the fastest, or one I used most was in the xover section, the last option to scroll to is level, just put it to zero and no volume comes from that output.

Just to clarify on the H701 "-13" is off not 0
