Butler tubes amps are nice... but older.

Sorry, I don't know very much about Image Dynamics... but I have not heard anything bad...

M-Fly, The idq12 is an all around good subwoofer. Many people use them for sq competition but can also produce decent levels of spl. You might try looking at the IDMAX if you want the best blend of sq and spl.
