^ LOL, you deal with Tim and think Randy (goalie_35) has attitude?

BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.. oh man...

Furthermore - I would suggest that Randy is the SINGLE most active SQ competitor in the Greater Vancouver to Fraser Valley region. It is guys like HIM that do everything they can to promote SQ competition. He routinely travels to the Okanogan, Alberta, wherever he has to, in order to compete. Local dealers like your buddy there don't do anything at all for the SQ scene. zero. nada.

The only local to be showing ANY support to local competition at all is Norman at Absolute and he should be commended for it. Go Norman!

You have obviously come to this board with many preconcieved ideas of what you would find here. That's too bad - this really is a great place to meet a lot of great people.

Oh Boy I like how you jump to conclusions, I have been a client of tims for a few years now, and for the RECORD he has never ever mentioned this site to me,or any other site for that matter. The reason i blocked half his shop name was the fear of getting banned for advertising,I've read on another forum how ppl get banned on this site for naming certain ppl or shops or mentioning certain shows.

So there is no need for ppl to assume tim bashed this site cause he has never even mentioned it to me.But I see alot of you sure like to bash him.

I've dealt with alot of shops here, Hzemall is the only shop that took time and sat me down and taught me a great deal about sq and encourged me to start to compete.

There is still alot I want to learn about this hobbie, that's why im here.I asked a certain question about amps, and I would of liked it to stay on topic.

As for goalie-35 I'am sure there is a great deal i can learn from you.I didn't like how your post was put together if i wanted an opinion on speakers or install i would of asked it.This post was about amps, and your reply came accross as harsh and rude,it was like your speaking to a bunch of 2 yr olds.

Dukk I see you like to jump to conclusions. you say I came to this board with preconceived ideas. I challenge you to quote any of my posts that would warrant this.......

The shows I enjoyed most were pats and daves, and well they were both banned from here, way to support them boys.........

Everything goalie_35 said about amps is true, so I'll assume that the higher-end gear that your considering would/should all be well designed......with that said, the common sense approach would be to choose whichever complements your install most or gives you the most personal satisfaction owning.

Since you asked, lets have a look at just this thread..

The reason i blocked half his shop name was the fear of getting banned for advertising,I've read on another forum how ppl get banned on this site for naming certain ppl or shops or mentioning certain shows.
So you read *something* on another board, formed a conclusion from that, and then posted both that and this tripe:

Tim @ hz**all sells them. (Had to block half shop name, so I don't get banned)
Yeah, no preconceived notions there. Obviously I'm delusional..

The shows I enjoyed most were pats and daves, and well they were both banned from here, way to support them boys.........
Not entirely true. Yes Pat was banned at one time after repeated requests to follow basic forum rules. Unfortunately, he refused. He is not currently banned though.

DaveO - he decided to stop posting here on his own. He was never banned, and isn't now. He stopped posting on another forum too that I frequent - as far as I know he isn't banned there either. We're such bastards here eh..

So there is no need for ppl to assume tim bashed this site cause he has never even mentioned it to me.But I see alot of you sure like to bash him.
Nope. The only one to mention him so far is me. It appears you assume alot of 'us' here bash him. really. Appears you came here with that opinion cuz, like I say, only I have mentioned his name. Preconceived notion maybe??

This isn't addressed to me, but Randy's a friend and great competitor, and I'm already posting so what the hell eh...
Go to any board and mention amplifier sound quality and you will find 3 types of people. Those that are certain that amps sound very different from one another, those that say they all sound the same - or so close it's virtually impossible to tell one from another, and those that believe there are dozens of more important things to worry about. You appear to fall into the former camp while Randy belongs in the latter. Your comment:

Most people who bash high end equip are usually the ones who can't afford them.
And yes tru amps sound better than your jbl's IMO
in my opinion came across as harsh and rude and thus the resulting discussion we are having now.

Since you claim you only wanted opinions on Tru amps - I'll offer mine. In my personal opinion, they are a flavor of the month brand that will soon be forgotten as they are replaced by the 'next big thing'. If you are bent on paying top dollar for amplifier power, I would look at Audison.

All i can say is i have noticed a difference in sound between my Tru amps and my Alpine pdx both have the same rated power and i have not changed my front stage consisting of a set of Morel Elate componets, perhaps what im hearing is the difference between class AB & class D. And as far as Tru being the flavour of the month how sweet the flavour is!!!!
