I vote the Alpines Pro, Focal starts to sound good at K3P and up, IMO.

If you have any way of crossing them over, I have a set of Hybrid Audio Legatia's (L631) that will be in the F/S section shortly...

no i dont have any way to cross the speakers over what do you think about doing focals 100kp 4" and get the 165-KBE bass extension kit to put in the doors? i was also looking at maby some cdt 3 ways? or if i went with the type x pros do you think it would sound good in kick panels and get a midbass driver for the doors also?

Focal or Hertz components imo. Find a sound board and listen to some. Then decide for yourself.

Too late this year, but next season when all of the car audio comps are on, make a point of attending some, that way you can see, and hear some really nice to fantastic 'SQ' sound systems. I am sure you won't wait till then to choose your setup, but just the same, plan to attend some. You won't be sorry you did.

I have listened to many a speaker in my day, and my recommendation is Focal or Hertz. I currently own the 165k2p but should I build another system, I would buy the Hertz Mille components. To my ear they sound incredible, to yours, maybe something else sounds better. I am sure you will be happy with whatever you choose.
