Upgrading component speakers
Upgrading component speakers
im going to be gettin a pioneer deh 5800 and kicker l7 with a zx 1000 for it but id like to upgrade my infinity speakers they are 3.5, 6.5, 6x8 but they are blown im guessing from underpowered by the old jvc deck! there arent any speakers in the 6.5s. so im thinkin about just upgrading the 3.5 and 6x8s because they all ready have upgraded wiring from before. looking to spend around 100 bucks on each set of speakers and im nto sure will i need a 4ch amp to power them and if so which one would you suggest for the cheapest amount that will do the job?
Dude, slow down some. All I have seen is post after post after post of the same sort of thing, I want to get this, how about that etc. Learn some in the process, ask questions. Some of us have been in car audio probably longer than you have been alive, you might learn a thing or two from many people here on the site.
If you are asking for suggestions on equipment, provide as much info as you can. What car is this going into is the next question (sounds like a Mustang though). This way a accurate choice can be made to point you in the right direction to make a educated buying decision. BTW, underpowering a speaker for example, will never ever damage it. If you are going to spend money on new equipment, ensure that it is the right equipment for the job, this way you invest in the right gear the first time around. Build the system up over time if you like. Yes an amplifier will help the front speakers immensely. This of course all depends on your budget as well. So start asking some questions and provide us with the answers we need to help you properly.
