Vibrational device for car?

Back in 90ish Pioneer had a line similar to what you are talking about; "body sonic" is what they called it. I thought it was pretty cool at the time. Princess Auto still has a few of the Aura units left here in the 'Peg, like $20 each from what I remember.
The PG cyclones were/are awsome devices. I think that they didn't catch on b/c of the price and size of box required. I had the chance to play with one for a few days many moons ago, had a freq response of something like 9Hz to 110Hz with 100W driving it. Not a whack of SPL but it did have a super low-end.

Very interesting. Thanks for the lead guys. I went to the Cylcone web page.

I wonder why nobody is using them for Home Theatre as well as car audio. Can you still buy these things. I am over in China so calling up my local store is out of the question till I get back. If they are still around who sells them in Canada?

If you find some, it will be used ones on ebay or from any ol seller who wants to get rid of his. There is one for sale on the pg web board right now.
If you look, you will find...some guy on the pg board just baught 4 of them.
Some people do use it for home to btw.
Later.

Yea, I've heard the Cyclone is really sweet for home audio.although if it's not a very loud unit, I can't imagine it being very good for surround sound, although, in a 2 channel music set-up it would probably rock.
