As for the wire thing....who's to say what one person can hear?

Bob says he can hear a difference, and Larry says, no you can't. Does that make much sence? How the hell does Larry know what Bob can and can't hear?

This whole thing about amps and wires and whatever else "sounding" different is getting annoying.

Oh, you CAN'T hear a difference between them, but how do you know what I can and can't hear, because unless we switch ears and brains, you DON'T know what I hear.

Give it up people, let the people believe what they want...if someone says they can hear a diference, who's to say different? Let them believe they can hear the difference.....if you can't let your ears tell you if there is or isn't a difference and need scientific proof then I feel sorry for you because you need some computer to tell you what you're hearing, and that is truely sickening.

Brandon,

I think they would probably ask to see your oil change receipts history.

I dunno, probably, sounds like a money grab to me.

You gotta use oil that costs twice as much as regular oil or else your waranty is void.

I'd be saying F-You, and using the oil I normally use in any other car and doing oil changes every 3000 km like yer supposed to, and you'll likely never have to worry about it anyway.

I realize that this is completely off topic first of all, but I thought I'd chime in on the oil thing:

You're right, they can't tell by looking, and they can do tests on it to find out. Whether they would bother to is unknown, although the tests themselves are not really expensive, just take time (if you send samples to a lab).

I assume "loudtdi" means he has a diesel car, in which case it's not that unusual that they would be about the oil. In fairness they shouldn't be asking him to use their specific brand of oil, but it's reasonable that they ask for a specific type of oil.

Anyway, just my opinion.

Does capacitance & inductance of a cable effect the sound? How could it not.
Inductance? Of wire? Unless its coiled up, I cant see much.

As far as the oil issue goes.....yes you can tell the difference in synthetic to non synthetic after is has run through the engine. Synthetic feels "slipperier". And conventional oil feels gritty.
