1995 BMW E36 Stock Replacement

Hi folks.

Decided to replace my stock stereo in my 1995 roller. I have never done this before, so I have some questions.

As I understand it, I need a harness for any new unit to go in. Is this true? Is it in the car now?

The car has two rear speakers (mid-range or woofers), two door mounted speakers (around 6"), and two dash tweeters. I only have to worry about the deck and the harness, correct? Everything else will fall into place?

What do I have to do to get the deck out? Do I have to take the whole dash apart?

Any special tools I will need?

Any leadership appreciated. Thank you so much.

Cheers

Actually found some videos, ordered a new unit and a harness came with it. I guess more questions later if things go wrong. Heh.

Quick question. The stock rear low-end 4" speakers take the hit when I crank it. Any recommendation for replacement speakers?

Cheers
