I think I may have asked about this sometime ago, but here goes again...

Does anyone know if anyone makes and handles a fuse block that will take 2/0 wire?

Or would I be better off building one?


And I was looking through a catalog yesterday and had this idea...Could a person use a house style curcuit breaker in line in place of a fuse?The only thing I see being a possible problem is the voltage difference...Your thoughts?

just trim the wire a bit. wont make any diff in spl

 

aaron: only problem with using a braker is that you need one rated for dC, and they're more expensive.

 

why are you so interested in running 2/0?

 

that is dumb advice, why not get the right parts for the install.

 

2/0 distro blocks are easily available, I have a couple at my parents' house
