Are 2 way speakers pretty much plug and play to replace factory speaker?

First off you'll have to excuse my installation ignorance.
I have a pair of Infinity 652i 2 ways that have been sitting around and I think that when I get my install for my LCD done, I might get them installed also. Now my Car has 4 mids and 4 tweeters and they have all been wired to go to the 4 channel amp in the trunk.
My question is, do the 2 way speakers simply replace the mid bass speakers? Is there any re-wiring necessary or do they just drop right in? Last, since the speakers are 2 way do they take over my tweeters, or will my tweeters still work?
Ugh, I feel like such a noob but I hope that someone can help me. Thanks a lot everyone.

It depends on how you wire them. What mids and tweets are you replacing? If they are factory you can try just replacing the mids with the Infinity's and leaving the factory tweet connected, then listen with it disconnected and whichever sounds best to you use. If it's an aftermarket mid and tweet you may have to disconnect the crossover in order to get a full range signal into the Infinity.
