I have a 02 sunfire 2dr coupe with the monsoon stereo. Ive already replaced the head unit and then later blew my 6x9s. I tried to replace them yesterday and cant get very good sound out of them. The factory 6x9s are 2 ohms. My afters are 4 ohms. I dont know where the amp is that the monsoon system comes with. What can i do to overcome this problem. And does anyone know where the amp is located.

Never been a fan of 6x9's. Something about a round voice coil and an oval cone!

But then again, L Kicker subs are round voice coil and square subs, but the square is equal all around.

Perhaps getting some 6.5 components back there?
