I previously had a 2003 Cavalier that was recently written off and on it I had replaced the Factory Deck and used a Relocation Harness to move the factory deck into the trunk.

I have just bought a 2002 Sunfire GT and I am wondering if the relocation of the factory deck is still recomended. I've read about just buying a chime kit to install with the aftermarket deck.

Has this debate been resolved yet, or is it still ongoing. On J-body.org they say you do NOT need to relocate the facotry deck.


Also the 2002 Sunfire I bought has Monsoon audio. What exactly does that mean?
