Hey everyone I'm new to this forum and I am trying to install a new deck in my 2006 Buick Allure. I bought a kit from metra (99-2021), but I cannot remove any of the factory dash trim.

Step 2 says to 'unclip' the trim below the climate control, how the heck do you do that?? I've tried every manner of hook. Can someone PLEASE shed some light?

just pull to "unclip" just make sure you get all the screws out and you should be fine.

 

Yup, had a neighbour mechanic do that. Apparently the solution is to just reef on it until it pops out. Thanks for the help.

 

reef on it till it pops...or breaks....95% of the time it works all the time.
