hooked up a ipod the other day to one of these 2006 mazda 6's. no matter what i have done i can't figure out how to enable the port on the back of the head unit. it is the 6 disc indash changer piece. if anyone is familiar with this please let me know what u did. even the dealer doesn't seem to know but last time i checked i am shure that at some point they must have had to install a external changer or something of the like to one of these units. thanx!

some modual from a company called mp3 your car. we will just have to wait i am talking with the tech today. stinking nobody has a clue about this i guess???!!!!!

 

The same thing happened to me. I had to go to the dealer to get it fixed. I have a 2006 mazda6 V6.

By the way, make sure that you do not have anything plugged in to the cd changer slot otherwise they won't service it. At least in the US that is.
