6.5 staging in an Impala

borrowed the title from previous topic english is my second language so i could use all the help
getting the CDT EF 6.5 set and trying to figure out the best location from the tweeters for imaging.
i'm thinking to put it all the way upfront right next to my windshield for the reverb effect or maybe somewhere on the door
i really have no clue that's why i'm asking for help
maybe any impala owners could tell me where they placed theirs or what are the benefits of the different locations

For what I would call 'best results' the majority of the highs should be comming from the same spot as the mid......

When it comes to localization, vertical cues being anywhere from 1-2khz (it obviously varies on the person). If you can cross your tweeter low at a steep slope, then it is not overly important how close your tweeter is to the mid vertically. Of course, separation laterally can be damaging, but again, a lot of this can be worked on with EQ, by correcting SPL and frequency response anomalies.
