What size of cab is it? My mom has a '01 cab and 1/2, there is no room behind the rear seat. It sits pretty much right against the back of the cab (as far as I can remember, maybe 1" at the bottom of the seat) but there is some room under the seats. If you are currently installing in the truck (gathered from your deck install), could you not just look and measure yourself? Just curious.

Hey now, he was trying to be helpful..

You have the truck. Head out there with a tapemeasure and find out.

He's right though, most trucks have little to no room behind the back seat. At best you might be able to mount your amps there but not usually.

And you never say anything that doesn't help a situation. Right?

^ Depends how stupid the situation is.

IMO if you ask a stupid question, you know something like, "I work in a shop but can someone tell me if it is ok to run deck power to components when I have a thousand watts on my sub" then one has to live with what they get..

Needless to say I'm extremely pleased..

Two Kinetic 600s fit with not a solitary hair to spare, The clearance is 3" and the main bar along the bottom of the back of the seat is 3" off of the back wall. So tight it rubs a little when folding the seat up.

Which means my amps have just over an inch of clearance.

Yaaaay. Happy awesome fun times.
