amp remote + switch

hey there, have a JVC SH-1000 deck and want to connect the amp power wire. there's a cable on the wiring harness labelled as such, do i just splice that one and be done with it?

follow up question, when wiring the amp power i want to run it through a simple on/off switch, have the switch just not sure how to wire it. (i'm used to there being a ground, but the amp power is just 1 wire....so dunno?)

thanks

1 be patient these questions get asked all the time, did you search?
2 yes just splice into the wire i beleive its blue/white. and as for your follow up id use the remote wire through the switch as the remote tells the amp when to turn on/off.

umm you cut the remote wire, you only need to wire the switch just interupts the current. you dont need a ground. this isnt a house switch.
