amplifier/speaker wiring
here is the situation, i'm looking to run 2 amps (Infinity 7540a 4 channel,111W RMS x 4 at 4 ohms...and MTX MXA8001 mono, RMS Power at 2 Ohms 800 W x 1) into Pioneer deh-p8400mp head unit.
First, i will be running Rear and Front outputs into the Infinity amp, and run 4 speakrs from that (2 components in front door[150rms @4oh], and 2 6x9's in the back[100rms @4ohm])..as marked in red on diagram.
Second, subwoofer outputs will be connected to mtx amp, and eventually into 2 12" Polko Momo mm12 subs (500 rms/each).. 800+rms produced by the mtx should be just enough.
Now my questions are, how/where do i connect 2 remote leads into the head unit? i have one already that connects the mtx amp, where do i connect the Infinity remote lead into the head unit? I have provided the diagram of my head unit, as you can see, there are a couple of pins which are not being used.
Also, i want to run 2 more sets of components in my rear door, but i don't want to buy another amp, these are infiity 6010cs (270watts, 90rms). I don't care if i can't get the most out of them, as long as they produce some sound. Is it possible to bridge any of the speaker outputs in the power supply of the head unit, so i can connect these and get more than 20watts to each speaker?
Lastly, i have 1 farad Rockford fosgate cap, which i'll probably connect to the mtx....should i buy another for the mtx (i.e. 2 farad) and use this one for the infinity amp....is it necessary?

Both amp remote wires would be connected to the remote wire from the head unit (pin #4). Remote wires are just for control for power on/off so connecting them together isn't a problem.
The built-in amplifier in the head unit is not bridgeable in the application you've described. The only application is bridging the rear outputs to power a subwoofer(s).
While more capacitance is always better, the rule of thumb is 1 farad for every 1000 watts. So according to your description, your RF cap should be more than enough. Secondly, caps really help with bass transients in music so putting one on your main speaker amplifier probably won't give you anything in the way of improved audible performance.

thanks for the quick reply.
so one issue is solved
as for cap, it is 1 farad, but each of my subs is 1000watts(500rms)...so i guess i'll need 2 farad
as for the speakers, the 4 of them (components in the front and 6x9's in the rear), they all add up to just over 1000 watts....the only reason i'm thinking of adding a cap, is to prevent drainage on my battery, or is there another alternative (instead of adding a new small battery, or upgrading the current one to a bigger one)
thanks

You can for sure use the remote out on the deck. Sometimes you may need to put a relay in there to give you more out put but with just two amps it's prolly not need.
Yet again, the caps is really only good for the mtx amp. the Infinity isn't going to drain enough that would make it important enough to add another cap. But as said above more is always better!!

before you install the cap, make sure all your connections are good and upgrade your power and ground connections under the hood. according to both mark eldridge and gary biggs, "caps are useless"
