Are these your components? (click) The 165 A1's?

If so, then they are rated for 60rms. I would get a good 100rms x 4 amp that has the Xover flexibility your looking for. Also an amp with a gain level higher than your decks output will leave some head room for level matching.

Yes they are...but what might ya mean by x over flexibility....I have one 4000rms amp for the sub..and one 200w am2channel for the comps..But whay ur saying is get a new four channel with 100rms..is that 100w rms per channel.I may need a pointing to an example or two..if ya got;s the time..

If you want to go active yes. Buy a 4ch amp that is 100rms x 4ch. By flexibility I mean, it must be able to crossover the front to rear channels @ 3000 - 4000 hz area depending on where they sound best. It really is hard to go active using amp Xovers (crossovers). I would consider an external Xover network then run it to the 4ch.

EG. I have my front RCA from my deck run into two 30 band eq's (L&R). Then from there they run into a Xover network that I use "chips" to control the Xover frequencies. Then from there the signal goes to my amps, that only have to play the frequencies that it is given. Which makes for better efficiency.

Look into getting the Audioque AQ4X90. It has unreal tuning capablities and would suit the equipment you are using nicely
