The one that I was looking at was Sealed.

So are you suggesting I get a large ported box for my sub? Because I found a nice "truck wedge" (small sealed box) that would fit in my car nicely with out loosing all of my trunk space.

If I did get a small sealed sub box what would I lose? Like, bass deepness, volume, tightness of bass (would a small box make it sound muddy?)

If the loss isn't that bad, then I'll get the smaller box. But if its a terrible idea then I'll suck it up and lose my spear tire.

the smaller the box the less output, you oose a bit of everything... a mid sized well built ported box is your best bet.. the only good thing about small sealed boxes is that you can only get better! ahahaha

Keeping the Original specs in mind. (400w) what gauge of wire should I use to the sub? (speaker out to sub)

oh youd be fine with 14ga no problem.. your not running alot of power so reall you dont need anything that big
