I have a Kicker 15" L7 and need to build a box for it. I want to build a 4.5 cubic foot ported enclosure but I am new to the car audio scene and want to do this right. I can build the box myself but require help with the plans. I want to tune the box to 35 Hz (I think) I want the width of the box to be 36" (outside dimensions) and the height is restricted to 16.5". I can make the box pretty much as deep as I want(need). I want the port and sub facing the same direction, towards the rear of my car. I would really appreciate any help you can give me. I was planning on making just 1 slot port not round ones. Could you help me figure it out. Someone on another site told me I would have to do this in an "L" shape because the port wouuld be too long for my box.
