Camry '07 car audio suggestion
Hi guysss , im new here, could you guys help me to recommend a decent audio system for my new camry , because the standard 8 speakers sucks as hell.
I have a budget around 800-1000. Doesnt have to be really , and i prefer sound quality rather than having a crazy boom boom sub. Would really appreciate if any of you guys can tell me a good car audio installer with a reasonable price around burnaby area.
Thanks very much!!

Idea's
Here is what I would do:
Deck - good one with good 4+ channel & 4V+ pre-out voltage and sub control - ~$150-200
Front Speakers - Good component set (Mid Tweet) - $300-$350
Rears - Leave stock unless you drive 100% of the time from the back seat
Sub - ~$100
Amp - Good 4x60ish - $250-300 - 2 channels for the front end - 2 bridged to the sub
Box - Decent Ported (your budget will probably keep you pre-fab at this time) - ~$80-100 (may have to grind a little on that one
With the better mids and tweets and the lower end prices listed your looking at $900 + tax - install and parts I would guess would be about $125 parts - amp kit (unless your camery needs some crazy expensive dash parts etc) - $200-300 for install at a good shop so the stuff sounds right and is put in right.
If you want to keep the budget lower - Save where can - and look at a component set around $200.. But if your gonna spend $1000 - whats $300 bucks to get it right for $1300 really
- Also you didn't state if your budget was installed etc, or just gear..
Not sure who is in Burnaby these days - been too long since I lived in BC I guess, but my buddy Jeff Champ at 604 autosound in Chilliwack would be worth the drive - he can be a bit of a bass head sometimes
so just remind him SQ before SPL!!
Brands I'm sure lots will advise...
Decks for you in that Range - Clarion, Kenwood, Pioneer
Speakers - Focal, Clarion, Alpine, Hmm what else have I listend to lately - Let your ears do the talking on this one - compare apples to apples and listen to 3 different tracks over and over till you know them inside out - one female vocal.. one rock.. one Hip hop rap etc.. - unless you are into classical, country etc.. then sub those in where needed
Sub - Lots of good stuff at $100 - so just make sure it sounds good in the box you are buying
Amps - Most of the brands out there will have a good entry line - Clarion, Alpine
When you get it installed - get them to seal and deaden the doors if budget allows - you'll get much better mid-bass
And if the store doesn't talk to you about tweeter placement - keep shopping
That will give you good power for your sub to fill in the bottom end, your mid's and tweets will sing and you won't be clipping too much - and the ported box will give you good output when you want to get on it.
