So, this means I have 2 constant power sources connected to the red wire of the old deck? I would think I could just use the constant white/blue wire and tape off the white/green. Hmmm 50 bucks is starting to sound good to have a pro install it, what if I lose my brakelights???

regarding yellow marettes, I would use pink marettes if I could get this to work.
If you really want to install it yourself,go out tommrow and get like a $10 dmm and figure it all out.One thing I did not read is you having problems with finding your speaker wires.

Go to any stereo shop and ask for ya harness for a malibu be about $15-$20.I would'ed even think about hacking the harness up on that car to new.You should never cut up the harness tho

I installed it by myself,it works fine to play music, but it doesn't remember the time and the last song I played, seemed something wrong with my installation.
I drive a 98 white malibu.
I connected those wires for speakers and that 3 wires from fused filter box,but the rest wire I don't know where should I connect with, espeacialy for the blue one, thanks.

For people who still have problems with this:

The White with blue stripe from your car goes with the yellow from the deck, and you have to put together the red from the deck, the white with green stripe, and the red with yellow stripe from your car. Worked for me.

Civic 91 Stereo Wiring

So I just installed the system in my old 91 civic and she works great...

Constant - 12v - White/Blue
Switched - 12v - White/Green
Ground - Black
Illumination - Red/Black
LF(+) - Blue/Green
LF(-) - Grey/Black
RF(+) - Red/Green
RF(-) - Brown/Black
LR(+) - Blue/Yellow
LR(-) - Grey/White
RR(+) - Red/Yellow
RR(-) - Brown/White

Thanks to GForce for his post with this info....
- White w/ Blue Stripe from your car goes with the Yellow from the deck..
- Put together Red/Yellow stripe and White w/ Green stripe.
- Take the cable above and join this with the Red from the deck.

- The above worked flawless for me... Any questions lemme know...
