Confused on what wiring kits i need to get

Hello everyone, I'm new to the CCA, and to car audio for that matter.

I am having trouble figuring out what I need to set up my subs & amp.

Here is what i have: Profile HA1000 2-channel car amplifier 160 watts RMS x 2 at Crutchfield.com

Kicker CompVR 07CVR122 12'' subwoofer with dual 2-ohm voice coils at Crutchfield.com

I know I need an Amp Wiring kit, but is that all?? Could someone direct me to what I need?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Either 8 or 4 gauge will work for that amp but I always suggest a 4 gauge.

For that amp nothing really fancy. But if your willing to pay the piper for a quality kit then Bassworx, Tsunami and lots of others out there. But a basic 4 gauge kit will suffice. You looking to buy one locally or online? SOrry just noticed you from the US. In the US for a basic kit they have mobile spec, power acoustik, SPL ect. And for half decent kits look at a Audiopipe, kicker, ECS by JL. If you stick with the better name brands the kit normally will be better as well

I'm still waiting for the amp to come in, and see what wires come with that, then I will see what i need as far as a kit.

Outside of the amp kit, do i need a speaker wire kit, too?

That kit will work, but if you're not going to add another amp there are cheaper kits from Scosche on that site.
