deck causing dog whistle?
Hey guys. New to the forums here. I got a dog whistle coming from the tweeters that is super high pitched that I can't pin point. I'll start you off with a list of gear.
0/1 power wire to distribution block. 2/0 to amps.
200Amp 44G "stock casing" and a smaller pulley. not sure the diameter but was told that it was 18mm.
0/1 guage to the alt and battery.
Ground for amps are all on one grounding block that is welded to back of cab.
head unit Corehan android 7 CD-2D-ZZH-AN-02
Focal KRX 165 K2 2Ohm powered by a Masconi one 2.250 @ 2 Ohms
components
Amp High's Mosconi ONE 250.2
Dayton Audio UM-10 X2 @ 1Ohm powered by Sundown SAE-1000D v2
Sub Amp SAE-1000D v.2
Has anyone had any issues with any of these manufactures and comparable setup?
All connections are clean and tight. I did not have this issue with my last pair of Focal's and focal amp that I bought in a set off of amazon.
The last set that I had in the truck was a pair of Focal Access 165 A1"s and a Focal amp.
I did have alternator noise previously but thought I had fixed it after I had welded a stud to the cab.
The sound I am hearing will not fluctuate with engine rpm. It is a constant high pitched sound with engine on or off. All I could find on this topic was ground loop's.
im thinking that it is the head unit and want to get a kenwood dnx-995s so I can have some dsp but will use a minidsp later if i feel that the deck is not handling the sound well.
Any ideas before I rip it all apart to find the issue?
