The Fading Alt whine...yup "fading": is not a typo, plz help

I am new to this game, but I would likely try to disconnect each additional signal source (example your JVC unit) to see if one component is the source
the I would try ground all the audio/video/amps to one source instead of through a wire harness
I ground my amps to the rear seat belt bolt as I know there has to be lots of steel there.
just some thought from a pure amateur

i'd check to see if it is the alt making the whine... air pump on those cars is like a small vacuum motor in reverse.. they scream pretty good on a cold day. stethescope will be your best friend.

I would Load test the Alt, and the Battery, Eliminate those first. The car at idle should be well over 14 volts.

a car at idle is 14.2 - 14.4 volts.
