You think you can pull an extra 7db out of that system without spending more money?

Not a challenge or a slam - if you can you need to post the results.

And about hijacking the thread - this was a result of another thread and thus it was destined to be an opinion poll, which are never pretty.

The thread was going along alright until DannO laid them on the table.
</font>
Actually, interestingly enough at the PACER 3x IASCA show here last weekend Chris B, Keyur Patel, and my wife and I managed to help a new Insane Hertz member gain about 5dB. It took time on my pressure sensor and the knowledge from us as to what normally works and what doesn't (Keyur and Chris knew most of this, Martine and I are still learning the tricks).

Oh, and that 5dB didn't cost him a thing

</font>
I never said it wouldnt cost more money It just doesn't require a huge amount (ie. wood for a new box - $30).. and I bet by just building a new box some people would jump up more than 7 db..

Last year I gained approx 5 db's from lengthening my port..

No I don't think we could pull another 7 out of dan's setup.. we could most likely pull a few out of it..

I do agree, it would be cool to see a 7 db gain on it without changing equipment ..

So Dukk, are we almost turning you into an spl junkie yet?
