Actually, interestingly enough at the PACER 3x IASCA show here last weekend Chris B, Keyur Patel, and my wife and I managed to help a new Insane Hertz member gain about 5dB. It took time on my pressure sensor and the knowledge from us as to what normally works and what doesn't (Keyur and Chris knew most of this, Martine and I are still learning the tricks).

Oh, and that 5dB didn't cost him a thing
that one was a no brainer. his box sucked horribly. with a new box he gained. try to get 5 db's more now with the new box. lol
or better yet, tell me how to get 5 db's without spending anything ?

</font>
Yuli, I was just re-enforcing what you said about having someone around with some experience. That was almost 5dB with the new boxes! He had them placed all wrong and with some moving around and getting the right frequence/volume he managed to come in second. I am sure there is a bit more in there with some time on a mic and some more help.

Heck, to get anywhere close to you I think Martine needs a different car

My two cents on this is that it doesn't take a lot of money to win. But you do need guidance and help from people with more experience than you.

I feel like I got some top of the line stuff not super expensive but better than most, and I suck badly I'm only pulling a 142.

So I reached out for help and I will be getting a better box made from someone who knows what they are doing and taking any pointers I can from him also, and that is what is going to put me ahead of the game, not money.

Nice work buddy. Bit of a hypocrit aren't we? </font>
Why?

X
</font>
Because the first part of your sentence is pretty immature.

Calling them all retards, and then telling them to grow up.

I just thought it was funny.

That would be cool and I would like to see it.
Theres no way I can pull another 7 db from what I have now BUT, with a few box modifications I have planned and some HU adjustments, I think there is 1 or 2 more db crying to get out. That is very possible. So high 48's to low 49's is pretty impressive for a $1000.00 single 12" sub setup without any extra cash invested IMO.
