I've never used that specific audiobahn product, but the first thing I'd so is find out what kind of power they actually can deal with... 2200W to those 2 subs, and I think the Flame Q would be more than just a name if you're not carefull...

just a thought, Mark

Mark is correct, the power claims of the sub are a little on the highly exaggerated side. You should ideally be looking for a mono sub amp designed to operate at 1 ohm. Do you have a budget for your subs?, this will help to determine the type or quality of amp you can look at.

Think about this. Your car has a speedo say that goes to 200km/h yet it drives just fine at 50 km/h. Too much power or excess heat that cannot be dissipated as caused by a clipped signal will kill the subwoofer. If the amp is too small and the gain is properly set, the speaker will live a long and happy life. The Rockford amp recommended will land you buying new subs like pronto. A great amp it may be but waaaaaaaay too much power. Drop me a PM when you have the time or add me to MSN, forbidden@telus.net and we can talk about some amplifier options for you.
