I have a fibreglass bodied car with a very small
(mgb size)cabin. My question is what speakers and amplifier, not specific brand but size and power would you recommend.....I have room for 2, 5.25" speakers in the doors that are very low in the door panels and I have a rear deck area that is approx 48" long by approx 12" deep and wide.
Would I benefit from a sub in the rear or is the cabin too small for that.......would a couple of 2 ways in the doors with the rotating tweeters and a couple of 6 by 9 's in the back work.
The places to actually put an amp are limited
so what could you recommend
I listen to mostly heavy rock at medium volumes I am after a system that gives me clear sound without being tinny
Thanks in advance Dave

"MGB" size cabin? What is the car, a corvette convertable? Go with a good quality 10". Most 10's don't take up too much room and can hit pretty good. Factory size replacement speakers are the simplest to install, and as you mentioned about a small cabin, you probally don't have too much foot room for Kicks. What kind of car do you have? Maybe try to go on Sounddomain.com and look up your car to see if anyone has done an install in one. Get a few ideas. Just a thought.

Thanks Brett
The car is called a "Marcos" not too many around
I really want to keep the speakers hidden for appearance more than anything else.
So you figure a 10" sub and just the 2 5.25"'s
in the doors will do it?
