I was just wondering what i could use to activate the Remote turn on on my amp when im using it in my house. i have everything else figuered out except the remote. thanks alot

 

take a 12v switch and wire it between your p/s "+" and the remote terminal on the amp

What about using a 12V transformer? any one will do as long as it puts out 12volts. I have many of them lying around the house from old cordless phones, and other various devices that run off DC power.

just a thought.

check the current output from the transformers, they should probly do for the remote, but probly not to run the amp itself.

 

no of course not, I was thinkin of using a 12v, 500mah transformer, jsut to turn the amp on... he would need a beefy AC-DC transformer to run his amp, something in the area of 30- 50 amps I would assume...
