Hybrid Audio Clarus: Active or Passive?

Hybrid Audio Clarus: Active or Passive?
I am 100% SQ. I am currently running Alpine Type x passive w/ an Audison Bit 10. I just got the Clarus and my installer is suggesting of running them actively with an Arc Audio 300.4. Is this the way to go guys? BTW, I am super excited and cant wait to hear Clarus!
