I need some help please
I bought a used MTX thunder 1000XD which is a mono block amp @2 ohms.
It has a imput adjustments and Bass adj buttons and a few other buttons for adjustment. But I have no idea what to put these settings on.
It sounds good but I know I can make it sound better but I have no clue as what to put the settings at. The head unit puts out 15watts x4 front/rear.
I know this post is pretty vegue but if someone could sort of guide me I'm sure I can go from there.

low pass filter/ crossover usually between 50 to 80 hz depends on your liking, type of enclosure and rest of the system.
Sub sonic filter a generally a few Hz below tuning frequency of the enclosure if ported. If sealed enclosure, most people turn it down, I usyally keep it between 25 to 28 depending on alot of factors.
With respect to gain setting, for now dont turn it up above half way until you read up on how to set your gain and keep your hu volume moderate.

Thanks man! I have a Panasonic CQ-VD5005 DVD player Head Unit. It has the normal bass and treble settings. There is also like a equilizer type screen where I can change all the hz settings higher or lower the Bass hz and mid hz and highs hz and of course the regular bass and high settings. So it makes it quite difficult to know where to put those settings before setting up the amp.
I wish it just had bass and treble. I just want a nice boom heart pounding bass with no distortion without having to crank it up. I am running stock speakers off the head unit without a amp for them as it is plenty loud enough and I am only using the amp to run 2 12" Pioneers TS-W308D4 and my bud has it so they are at 2ohms in a ported box. I don't have the specs on the box. I dunno what the heck I am doin lol but at least I sort of have a starting point now.
Thanks!
